World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds Strengthens Events Team

Two non-executive directors have joined the World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds board as plans pick up pace ahead of the event in Roundhay Park on 11 and 12 June 2022.

Tracy Power brings a wealth of experience from across the sports sector, having worked as Social Impact Director at Rugby League World Cup 2021, Programme and Inclusion Manager at the Rugby Football League as well as worked in events with British Gymnastics.

Clive Richards is a senior commercial and marketing executive with experience across the sports and entertainment industry, having held senior positions at CSM Sport & Entertainment, The FA, IMG and CEO of a tech start-up operating in the gaming space.

Tracy and Clive join the board which currently consists of:

Ben Cummings - Chair

Kris Gemmell - World Triathlon

John Muddeman - UK Sport

Eve Roodhouse - Leeds City Council

Helen Marney - Triathlon England

Jonny Hamp - British Triathlon

Lindsay Impett - Event Director

Victoria French - Observer

Alongside Lindsay Impett, recently appointed Event Director, the board are focused on bringing an incredible event to the city, as part of British Triathlon’s three-year major events campaign in the UK.
